A good massage provides the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation. Depending on the designated purpose, a massage can be an exhilarating or a soul warming experience.

We are constantly looking to improve our massage trechniques to help our clients and as part of the Holistic Massage Treatment offer remedial massage, trigger point massage, Swedish massage, hands free and hydrotherm massage techniques.
Massage will release tension from muscles, encourage fresh oxygenated blood supply and heat into the area and aid removal of waste products. Speccific areas can be targeted for trigger point work and myofascial release, as well as good old fashioned petrissage. Often the body’s self healing mechanisms can start working after soft tissue manipulation. It is always rewarding to see a client become free from pain after sessions.
Holistic Massage differs from simple Swedish or other massage techniques in that the client’s “whole being” is taken into account, not just their physical symptoms/issues but also issues surrounding the client’s background in terms of their psychological/environmental/nutritional lifestyle and the effect these have on the body as a whole. Therefore we will often make recommendations on other forms of therapy/exercise/treatment for clients if we consider this is appropriate for the client’s wellbeing.
Treatments are conducted in the Treatment Room or in client’s own homes – referrals only for male clients.
